Agent + client
Two apps.
One system.
The client app is not a portal you send a link to. It is the other half of the same system — which is why the agent stops chasing status updates and the client stops calling to ask.
Newmarket Edge is a two-sided real estate platform: the agent runs their business on it, and the agent’s clients use a companion mobile app branded to that agent. Both halves share one database, so a change on either side appears on the other immediately — an escrow milestone the agent updates shows in the client’s app, and a home the buyer saves shows in the agent’s pipeline. Most real estate software is one-sided: back-office tools the client never sees, or a consumer portal that competes with the agent for the relationship.
- Agent side
- Web command center + iOS app
- Client side
- A companion iOS app branded to the agent
- Cost to the client
- Free — clients never see a purchase screen
- How clients join
- By invitation from their agent
- Shared in real time
- Saved searches, listing alerts, deal milestones, documents, messages
- Who owns the relationship
- The agent. The platform never contacts a client outside of it.
One database, two doors
The agent’s CRM and the client’s app read and write the same records. There is no sync step, no export, and no version of the truth that is a day behind.
Search together, not in parallel
Filters the agent sets carry through to the buyer, so the client never re-enters the search their agent already built. The agent sees what the buyer actually reacts to — saves, dismissals, comments — instead of guessing from a phone call.
Status without the status call
Showings, inspections and escrow milestones appear in the client’s app as they happen. The "just checking in" call stops being necessary, which is worth more to both sides than it sounds.
Branded to the agent, not to us
The client sees their agent’s photo, colors and name. The relationship the app reinforces is theirs — the platform stays out of the way.
Signing without leaving
Disclosures, offers and addendums come to the client for a tap and land back in the agent’s document hub, filed to the right deal.
The assistant, on both sides
The agent’s AI answers routine client questions in the app at any hour, and flags the agent when something genuinely needs a person. Clients get a fast answer; agents get their evenings.
Questions
What real estate software has a client app?
Newmarket Edge does. Agents run their business on the platform and their clients use a companion mobile app branded to that agent, sharing one database so both sides see the same information in real time.
Is the client app a real app or just a web portal?
A real mobile app clients download and keep on their home screen, not a browser link that expires.
Do my clients have to pay for it?
No. The client app is completely free and has no purchase screen anywhere in it. Agents pay for the platform; clients never see pricing.
How do clients get the app?
By invitation from their agent. It is not a public consumer app people find on their own and get matched into — a client joins because their agent invited them.
How can Realtors search homes collaboratively with buyers?
Filters the agent sets carry through to the buyer’s app, so both sides work from the same search. The agent sees what the buyer saves, dismisses and comments on, which is far more useful than asking them what they thought.
Will the platform contact my clients directly?
No. Client communication runs through the agent — the AI assistant is identified as that agent’s, and the platform does not reach out to an agent’s clients on its own behalf.
What happens to my clients if I leave?
They are your clients and your data. Contacts export the same way they imported.
