This page explains how to request deletion of your account and its associated data from the apps published by Newmarket Edge LLC:
- Newmarket Edge — the app for licensed real estate agents (com.newmarketedge.agent).
- The WayHome — the app for homebuyers and renters working with an agent (com.newmarketedge.client).
It also covers accounts created on app.newmarketedge.com. You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to be signed in, to make this request.
How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@newmarketedge.com with the subject line Account deletion request, and include:
- The email address on the account you want deleted.
- Which app or site the account is for — Newmarket Edge, The WayHome, or the web app.
We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm that you control the email address on the account before we act on the request — this protects you from someone else deleting your account.
There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.
What is deleted
When we action a deletion request:
- Your sign-in credentials are destroyed — the password on the account is erased and the email address on it is scrambled, so the account can no longer be logged into or recovered.
- Your account is closed and marked deleted, and stops appearing in the product.
- Any connected mailbox is disconnected and its stored access tokens are deleted, ending our access to that mailbox.
- You are removed from all email and push messaging.
What is kept, and for how long
Some records are not erased when an account is closed. Newmarket Edge is used to conduct licensed real estate business, and a transaction record belongs to the brokerage and the other parties to that transaction as well as to you — so deleting one person's account cannot erase it.

Retained records are kept for the purposes above only. They are not used to market to you, and your closed account cannot be used to sign in.
Deleting some data without closing your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific things. You can disconnect a linked Gmail or Outlook mailbox at any time from Intelligence → Email in the web app, which revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens. To remove a specific category of data while keeping your account, email privacy@newmarketedge.com and tell us what you want removed.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to request deletion of the personal information we collected from you, subject to the legal exceptions described above.
